THIS POSITION IS A SPECIALTY INTERNSHIP ROLE FOR VETERINARIANS. YOU MUST BE A DVM/VMD IN ORDER TO APPLY.
Salary: 37,000 + benefits
Opportunity to earn additional cash compensation: If qualified (based on progress in the training program), the intern will be eligible to work extra shifts when available on a voluntary basis and will be paid $700/12 hr shift.
Benefits: 3 CE days and $1500 budget, 5 PTO days, health insurance, reimbursement for cost of state license, CDS, DEA, VIN, VECCS membership, uniform allowance, professional liability insurance (PLIT) including license defense protection.

We have three Criticalists on staff and a full team of experienced ER veterinarians. In addition to RVTs, there are also highly qualified veterinary technicians and assistants. Our staff places central lines, u-catheters, etc.

Prerequisites other than being a Graduate of a College of Veterinary Medicine:Graduate of AVMA accredited US or Canadian College of Veterinary Medicine. Must have a license to practice in Maryland prior to the beginning of the internship in July 2018. This process can take 6-8 weeks through the state.
